Donors to The Fairfield County Chorale play a crucial role in keeping the choral tradition alive. As with most arts organizations, ticket revenues do not cover the cost of presenting high quality choral programs. Click on the donate button below to make a secure online donation. New Music Director David Rosenmeyer

David Rosenmeyer is a conductor, vocal coach, pianist, and accompanist born in Argentina who began his musical studies in Israel. Now in his seventh season as the Associate Conductor for the Oratorio Society of New York, he has led the Society in Carnegie Hall performances including Stravinsky's Mass (2007), which marked his Carnegie Hall debut. Mr. Rosenmeyer is also on faculty at New York University where he serves as Music Director of the Choral Arts Society and the University Singers. In addition, he is on the Artist Roster of the Carnegie Hall Weill Music Institute, where he works with the Musical Connection series, designing and bringing engaging interactive musical outreach programs to underserved communities.
Mr. Rosenmeyer began his conducting career as the guest conductor of major orchestras throughout South America, including the Orquesta Sinfónica Nacional of Argentina, the Orchestra of the Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires, the Orquestra Sinfónica de Concepción of Chile and the Orchestra do Festival do Curitiba of Brazil. He has also conducted the Israeli Chamber Orchestra as well as several operas in Tel Aviv with the International Vocal Arts Institute. He has served as Music Director of the Bach Society of Columbia University; of Horizon Concerts, an outreach program that brings classical music to New York City schools; and of the famed Salzburg Marionette Theatre.
