March comes in like a lamb… the Misatango, or Mass a Buenos Aires, features Shinjoo Cho on the traditional bandoneón. Misatango is Martín Palmieri’s fascinating combination of a classic Latin mass and Nuevo Tango rhythms and syncopation. It has been described as a work both sultry and sacred. In contrast, we present the tranquility of contemporary composer, Ola Gjeilo, and a world premiere by Evan Fein, composed specially for our concert!
