Norwalk, CT –The Fairfield County Chorale is thrilled to announce a captivating evening of choral music featuring Johannes Brahms’s monumental Requiem, A German Requiem, and Florence Price’s evocative composition Abraham Lincoln Walks at Midnight. The concert will take place at the renowned Norwalk Concert Hall on June 2, 2024, promising a memorable experience for all attendees.
The Fairfield County Chorale, which celebrates its 61st season this year, will perform under the baton of the esteemed conductor, Maestro David Rosenmeyer. With a rich history of delivering outstanding interpretations of choral masterpieces, the Chorale is poised to captivate and excite audiences in its final concert of the season.
Johannes Brahms’s German Requiem, one of the most profound works in the choral repertoire, will be the centerpiece of the concert. Founded in 1965, The Fairfield County Chorale is a distinguished choir based in southern Connecticut. It’s mission is to champion the appreciation of excellence in choral literature, performing a broad range of choral music for the benefit of the community.
