Dear Friends and Supporters of FCC,

We are excited to see you on December 12, as the Fairfield County Chorale, led by Music Director David Rosenmeyer, gives its first, live, in-person performance since March, 2020. Maestro Rosenmeyer has created a varied program celebrating and performing the works of Dr. Adolphus Hailstork – who plans to attend – as well as holiday favorites for this season of joy.

Like other organizations, the Fairfield County Chorale has established work-in-progress protocols for its live performance. Here are the key points:

Prior to entering the auditorium, every audience member, regardless of age, must show proof of full vaccination; those above the age of 18 must also show appropriate identification; volunteers will be on hand to check for this documentation; we are planning where and how this will be conducted; there may be one station to check for proof of vaccination, another to show tickets which will not be ripped, etc. There may be a third station for any questions. To avoid and reduce any possible congestion and delay, please come prepared to show these materials.

Properly fitting masks must be worn at all times at Norwalk Concert Hall.

FCC is continuing its practice of selling tickets with unassigned seating. At this point, our audience attendance is capped at a maximum of 300, which must be spread throughout the auditorium, including the balcony, to comply with social distancing practices. Our plan is to exclude seating in every other row, to be indicated by tape extending over each such row. Within the designated seating rows, we ask that you allow three seats empty between groups, which will provide appropriate social distancing, while allowing families to sit together.

Maestro Rosenmeyer has planned a program running under 90 minutes, without intermission. There will be no sale of food or drinks.

We urge you to purchase tickets in advance, on our website,

For this concert, we will not hold tickets for pickup and/or payment – “will call” – except in extraordinary circumstances.

If unsold hard-copy tickets are available at the time of performance, and, if their sales will not exceed our capacity, they may be purchased for $35.

We cannot assure availability, and don’t want to turn anyone away, so please buy online!

We thank you for your cooperation, and look forward to seeing you on December 12 for what will be a most memorable concert.

With all best wishes to you and your families –

The Fairfield County Chorale Board of Directors
